What makes "The Twins'" artwork truly unique is their use of rare, native Koa wood as an actual canvas, instead of traditional cloth or board. They carefully leave specific areas of their oil paintings unpainted, allowing the natural grain, texture, and luster of the Koa wood to form elements of the art—such as the folds of a dress, the waves of a woman's hair, or an ocean current.
Artwork is a Giclée on canvas surrounded by a Mahogany frame with a wood inlay and a gold scoop. Giclée printing is a process that uses fade-resistant, archival inks and archival substrates to print on large format printers. The quality of a giclée print is far superior to all other forms of printing and is closest an artist can get to matching their original 2-D artwork.
