In “Sea Turtle Reflections,” Wyland returns to mixed media Lucite sculpture for a three dimensional view of a pair of sea turtles on an epic voyage across the ocean. “Lucite is the perfect medium for a marine life artist,” Wyland says. “The way it refracts light gives the viewer an never ending variety of perspectives. In this piece, you can almost imagine sharing the journey with these beautiful animals.”
